Storage and staging
Short and longer-term storage that lets you stage inventory near the freight that will move it.
Cross-docking
Freight is received, sorted, and re-loaded straight onto outbound trucks, with little or no storage in between.
Container transloading
Ocean and rail containers are unloaded and their freight re-loaded onto domestic trailers for the next leg.
Consolidation
Multiple inbound shipments are combined into fuller, more efficient outbound loads.

Transloading, tied to the truck
Transloading is where warehousing and freight meet. When a container comes off the port, its freight is unloaded and re-loaded onto domestic trailers for the run inland, and because we arrange the drayage and the over-the-road move too, there is no handoff between vendors and no finger-pointing.
One team owns the container from the terminal, through the dock, and onto the truck.
